Good morning to everyone, I hope I am putting this in the right place. I have my neighbors Husqvarna 61 in here as a favor servicing it and everything went well until I wanted to start it to circulate the new oil and it hasn't hit a lick since. First to tell you I had to take fan shroud off to clean the big ball of last years grass out, I put it back together and all it does is spin won't even try to hit spraying carb cleaner in carb and I can't see a spark except when I use a test light and get enough fire to light it but I know this is not telling me anything, I stuck a screwdriver in the plug wire and held it and there was no current no shock at all when I spun the engine over, I have serviced this engine for several years but never had a problem. Hopefully it is something simple and someone has an idea, going to try post all info necessary. Thanks in advance, Bill Dotson. Remove the engine shroud and disconnect both kill wires to the ignition coils. Then test if still no spark replace the coil or coils depending if one failed or both. Otherwise you have problem on the mower side, Most likely one of the safety switches not working right.

Thanks Star Tech will try this, how can you check the coils? Actually I pulled the wire with the double wire off and found mice damage taped it up and it started so hopefully that was the problem I ordered another wiring harness per owner request so will see what happens, sure appreciate the help now if I could get a little better eye site than these 75 year old ones I might have seen the wire sooner.
