StarTech Lawn Royalty Jan 11, 2021 #2 You said checked the drive belt this mower uses two drive belts so you to check both of them.

B ba_50 Well-Known Member Jan 12, 2021 #4 I take that back. Looks like a belt could be missing on a double pulley.
B ba_50 Well-Known Member Jan 14, 2021 #7 This mower is new to me. The deck is off, and the belts are on it. With the motor running, the motor pulley isn't turning. When the f/r lever is moved the motor dies with one or the other pedals pushed in. Do both have to be down?

Scrubcadet10 Moderator Staff member Jan 14, 2021 #8 So with the engine running, the pulley that is on the engine crankshaft isn't spinning?
B ba_50 Well-Known Member Jan 14, 2021 #9 Ok, the wheels turn with the seat safety switch pushed down Wonder why it won't move with wheels on the ground, unless the belt is slipping
