Honda H2113HDA lawn tractor

My Honda H2113HDA lawn tractor will only run in choke position. It had been stored for approximately 2 yrs and would not run at all when retrieved. I cleaned carburetor & it started and ran immediately, but will only stay running in choke position. I am not an experienced mechanic (backyard type). Any suggestions?

Carb is still dirty and or you did not hook some linkage back up correctly.

That's a classic symptom of a dirty carburetor.

Often, the main jet and nozzle are plugged or partially blocked. A full disassembly and cleaning with carb cleaner and compressed air will usually do the trick. In a case where there's corrosion or rust, opt for a whole new carb.
