There were a number of designs for the blade clutch on the Honda HRM....can you share the full serial number off the back of the mower deck? It's in the form of "MXXX-1234567"

It is a MZBB 6174826 i am wondering on the drive part of the clutcjh is it supposed to have some type of material like brake pad material or how dies it drive the blade.
