Honda HRR2167VKA Won't Start

Hi. Sorry if this posted somewhere else. I have a Honda HRR2167VKA push mower. The mower hit a large rock and after that is began to shake.
I replaced the crankshaft and now the mower won't start. I have checked and I am getting spark. I can't figure out why it doesn't start now.
Could it be the carb or something else I am missing. I feel it's something simple that I am not seeing.

Timing belt / timing lined up correct?
Did you remove the carb during the repairs? All the spacers, insulators, gaskets, etc. must be installed in the proper order and orientation. Be sure the two long bolts are secure (no vacuum leaks).
Fresh fuel?
Compression check / verify valves are properly working / valves are correctly adjusted?

Why did you replace crankshaft? Is new crankshaft:Errorclick anyway

Your key under flywheel is sheared, also check underside of mower for blade replacement.Errorclick anyway

Does not have timing belt. On the crank and on the cam gears are two tiny dots you need to make sure those are lined up. The other side of timing is the shear key under the flywheel and coil gap. Check those things and check back

So it adjusted the intake and exhaust valve and set the camshaft pulley with the lines perpendicular to the block.
Put everything back together and the mower fired right up. I thought I was all set to go, but it sounds like there is another problem.
The mower sounds like something is stuck open and gets louder and louder. It won't idle. I am afraid to keep it running.
Any thoughts???? Could the carb be stuck open or a throttle?

That sounds like a linkage or govenor problem. I would first inspect linkages make sure you put everything back correctly. Is it auto choke or manual throttle

It's an auto choke. I had the carb off and I probably put it on wrong. I am going to pull it off tomorrow and take a look at the carb and linkage.

So I fired up the lawn mower and adjusted the governor arm and the rpm's went down to normal. I adjusted the pin in the governor and snugged up the nut. Pulled the rope and the mower is running perfect now.
