Unless he is talking about me.... I am 24 and if people think I am an idiot that's cool.... I am 24 buying a house, own 3 vehicles, have 2 brilliant children and beautiful wife and am running a completely legitimate successful small business so ya if I am an idiot I am a pretty lucky one.

Related topic I am going to call 5 other places in the morning for more quotes frankly if I have to pay more than 75 a month I am not going to do it I like the idea of the affordable care act I do not like being given an ultimatum of paying monthly or paying a fee either way I am.being forced to pay and am getting annoyed. There is no great conspiracy there is simply no way for someone to design something like this to please everyone people will be annoyed but it can have huge benefits for a lot of people to get the care they need. I read that post about people on food stamps and other assistance and laughed at the ignorance there are a few bad eggs but bot everyone on it is going to riot or revolt .. last year I was on food assistance it helped put healthy food on my kids table instead of processed food starch and fillers. It's funny how these same that said social security and Medicare were going to be the downfall of this country... And am now using it to live and guess what we are still a country.. we still have issues but Obama and affordable care act is not going to be the down fall

Got off the phone with apple health for medical and dental for.me and my wife it will be 225 after subsidy's I am going to call some more still doesn't seem worth it

You say it's 225 is that a family policy or is that just you and your wife? A family policy should cost you less when you factor in the kids with the income you have. Thing is if the 225 is a family policy that's a real good price. I retired from the county and if I would have chose to carry there insurance it would be costing me over 500 a month and that covered just me with the basic policy. The other thing is your complaining about paying every month. I'll tell ya it's a lot easier to come up with that 225 every month than over maybe a 1000 every six months, that's the reason they're doing things like that. Like you said you were going to check the other company's, do that and make them fight for your business that's how you get the lower prices.

My wife and I are paying $586 a month for Blue Cross. Many people in our area have been paying about the same. We have not gotten a letter yet. It numerous others have and their insurance doubled. My brother in law had theirs go up 104%. There is absolutely no way that I can afford mine if it goes up that much. In fact I am maxed out at $586 a month.

If you read You will find that MediCare and Medicaid are broke because the idiots in DC have taken money and used it for other things. We are now trillions of dollars in debt as a nation. There are many people already losing their jobs because of this "Affordable Health Care". To be honest I have not found anybody yet that has gotten any health insurance that is affordable.

We are now trillions of dollars in debt as a nation because of all the wars were involved in doesn't have anything to do much with MediCare and Medicaid. I think you'll find most people will end up saving over half the price on there health care that they were paying. When you stop and think about it and the price of health care what it is, and now it will be based on your income it means lower income people who couldn't afford insurance will be getting insurance for almost nothing. If givin a chance you'll find the Affordable Health Care" will work and be beneficial to most people.

The biggest problem is people don't want to find out facts for them selfs and just listen to what others want them to believe.

Read and learn the facts and stop putting everything down just because you don't like him. It was not him who shut everything down.

We have too as well as the other people I mentioned. Everybody's BC insurance is supposed to go up dramatically from what we are hearing. I personally know several that have gotten a letter in the last two weeks saying so. Least I have heard was 60%. Several more over 100% increase. All are saying deductibles went up and coverage went down from what I am understanding as well.

At this time no. Some of the people I do know have tried but had no success.

I can find nobody anywhere that has unless there is a post here I overlooked.
