I am just going to take note of all of the idiots that are holding eveything up, and vote the other way come election time. I think that is the only way to get their attention is the threat of them loosing their seat in office.

The idiot holding everything up is BARRACK HUSSEIN OBAMA and the idiots who voted him into office.. he's done more damage to this country than can ever be repaired...his goal is to bankrupt this country which is the only way to collapse the world economy so a new financial system can be put in place.. one world currency..one world government... wake up America!

I agree. The problem is we now have more people who vote for a living than we do that work for a living. Therefore it is only get worse till we have a total economic collapse.

Never encumbered with facts.
The house "could" have put this up for a vote and all of this would have been avoided... No voting is going on and those blocking the vote have shut down the government, But they are still getting paid.

Not gonna argue politics..with the politically misimformed....THIS IS A LAWN MOWER FORUM..and I don't watch any news on TV or listen to talk radio... does anyone know who George Soros is??..and can anyone explain his open door to the White House... I bet you've never beard the name talk to me about mowers or mowing or join my Iggy list..and you must not realize that Hussein Obama wanted this shut-down and why he wanted it...we're suffering from a lack of leadership and it starts at the top..the republicans in Congress ran on stopping obamacare and if they don't they loose their jobs..all they're asking for is a one year reprieve for us all not jus a select few which are being hand chosen by Hussein Obama and there will be alot of very unpopular things coming out that Americans are not gonna like in this next year and yes the Republicans want to expose them... and I'm Conservative... not a Republican.. but the fact remains we have a president of the world (so he thinks) who wants to bankrupt this country and if don't know that your the one just spouting off at the mouth

I know I have limited "security" from Social Security.

I also know that Affordable Health Care is probably not going to be quite so "affordable".

I am glad to see somebody trying to do something, but strongly disagree with all the political wranglings that are more about political party allegiance than to allegiance to country.

Oh, how I would welcome more "statesmen" and fewer politicians.
