B beretta22 Well-Known Member Jun 23, 2024 #1 Got a ZTX5 with squeal with blades engaged. You can hear it slow down as rpm’s lower to stop. Can’t tell if it’s idler or spindle. Only has 60 hrs on the mower. Just wondering if there’s an issue with any of these parts that’s prone to failure.

StarTech Lawn Royalty Jun 23, 2024 #2 It can be a bearing in either the spindle or the idlers. Just something you have determine yourself as you are the one at the mower. Now the spindle do have 6206-2RS bearings if the need replacing and one oil seal.
