New guy here - love the forum!

Considering purchasing a ZTR for my 1/2 acre lot with lots of landscaping. I have a Weed Eater One now and hate how much area it takes to turn and how small an area it cuts. I may cut a few neighbor's yards in a few years when I retire. I have a good commercial Snapper walk behind but I need to drastically cut down on my mowing time.
Is a ZTR overkill for my application?
Are the smaller 42"-48" ZTRs worth looking at?
Can I pull a dethatcher and core aerator once a year with a ZTR without any issues?
Budget is 3-5K.
Thanks

My shop sells plenty of smaller Cub Cadet and Simplicity Z machines - folks do like the ability to turn around so easily .

Imo you will be overjoyed with the shortened mowing time and the ease of use. My 16hp 40" Ariens is rated to pull 300 lbs. Wouldn't want to risk trashing the drive components.
