Hello all,

I have, well actually my wife has a zero turn Cub Cadet with the Kawasaki engine. Been a great mower for a few years now. We are just now experiencing an issue and I was hoping for some assistance.

Last week while mowing my wife ran over a loose tree root that the dogs chew on and they left it in the grass. Since then the cut pattern is off. The mower doesn't seem to be mulching properly anymore. But more importantly is that it is leaving an odd cut pattern, very uneven. I measured the blade heights and they look to be ok. Hard to tell really while laying on the ground and measuring while reaching in from the sides.

Any suggestions on what might be the "root" cause?! My thoughts are a bent blade? Even though I don't see an obvious bend, it doesn't mean they aren't.

Appreciate any and all help and advice you can offer.

Would be a bent blade from the sounds of it, but you might check your spindles to be sure. I mean, your wife's spindles...
