zama vs walbro

Probably a stupid question, but can a zama carb be replaced with a walbro? Looking at after market carbs and when ms250 is typed in, mostly walbro appear.

OEM's go back and forth with whatever the flavor of the day is. I have had Walbro get superceded to zama or the other way around.

But you will have to make sure that the carb is for the same size engine.
You can go with a bigger one but a smaller one will be running lean & kill your saw in no time flat.
