Z345R intermittently won’t start or runs bad.

Hi guys,
New to the forum and would appreciate any help you can give.
I have a Z345R that is going on it’s 3rd season and about halfway through the 2nd it intermittently wouldn’t start or would be so down on power it would stall if I engaged the blades. It acts like a vapor lock issue. If I disconnect any of the fuel lines from the pump and reconnect them without doing anything else, it will run fine for quite awhile. Is this the fuel pump, the cap, a clogged vent line, or something else entirely?

The only thing pulling the fuel line off would fix is a non venting tank
Check this by loosening the fuel cap with a tank 1/2 full so it does not slosh around

I’ll try that. Is the cap vented or is there a vent line? I’m trying to figure out what might be plugged.
