Z2 60 Lap Bars Not Synched

Coming from a RZT 50 to a brand new Z2 60 Cub Cadet zero turn mower - bought just last week. I’d rate this new mower 2/5 for now and the primary reason is because I can’t get the lap bars to synch. When static, motor off, I can adjust the bars so they are synched. Once I start the motor, the left one stays further forward than the right one, by a fairly large margin (3 - 4 inches, maybe?), even after I try to readjust to compensate for this offset. It sems like whatever I do, they will always stay offset. It is very uncomfortable riding this way. I plan to call Cub Cadet CS/tech people to ask for advise. But before that, I’ll take any suggestions from the forum. For reference, my RZT didn’t do that, and I had to return a Z2 50, bought same week for same issue among others.
 
At the very base of each lap bar there is a turn knob that can be loosened to adjust the lap bar to the position you want them to be. Pretty easy to do.
 
Thanks for responding. Like I mentioned, I can adjust the bars to “synch” position unpowered (and static). Once powered and moving, mine do not maintain that position - left one stays forward than right one (~3 - 4 inch gap) to maintain straight line operation. I have tried several times to adjust but the bars always seems to default to the 3 - 4 inch gap configuration. The 50 inch I returned came with the bars hard-stopping on the frame on forward push - meaning, the knob was so far forward that the bars stopped on the frame, in max forward position. Even in that configuration, I experienced the same thing. These are delivered to my local Home Depot. Could this be due to something they do during their delivery ops?

The steering tracking has not been set properly. It left the factory wrong, then the dealer or big box store (most likely), did nothing to set steering correctly. Follow the steering arm linkage back to transaxles. These can be adjusted with some trial and error.
 
Once the control arms are adjusted an initial "comfortable position", the steering arm links need to be adjusted by trial and error dynamically to obtain the "sweet spot" where both respond correctly. As you dial in the function, adjust the operator control to even up the lap bar. Once ideal operation is obtained, make sure the lock buts on the links are tightened.

The links are usually corrected by the dealer during the PDI setup process. Simply put, there is no "one adjustment".
