These are likely overkill for tightening 1 crank bolt and we would have to assume the user has an impact hammer.
I remember when torque sticks were all the rage quite a few years ago when I worked for a Ford dealership. We received a notice from corporate banning the use them after a few incidents of wheels coming off.
They are okay for a few uses, but then a person has to start verifying the actual torque with a torque wrench.

What people don't understand about torque sticks is they are designed to get it within a 10% margin of error, and final torque needs to be verified with an actual torque wrench. And you can't use a torque stick with a battery impact the impacts are so fast that it overrides the bounce that sets the torque with a torque stick.

I will use an impact and my air ratchet only during teardown, but they have gotten me in trouble too many times (years ago) trying to rush a reassembly.
