changed the drive belt and now it will lose power after about 10 feet with the deck engaged.to the point it will stall out! Though it was gas system, replaced the filter, fuel pump , spark plugs and air filter.no change could i have rerouted the belt wrong? putting too much tension on the motor?

I have a similar Force 48. There is really nothing in the traction drive belt area that would cause this problem.
Did you also replace the drive belt tensioner idler while you were in that far?
From your description, I would suspect trash clippings and dirt in the fuel tank that has gotten caught up in the suction line of the tank and creating a temporary blockage when the engine is started and ran for a couple of minutes. Once it shuts off, this stuff relaxes in the line until the engine is ran again, at which point it get sucked up and blocks the fuel flow again.
The shutoff valve at the top of the fuel tank also tends to have issue with getting loose over time and it will vibrate to the closed position. (I thought I was seeing things, but it happened to me)
Along with that, trash clippings often get hung up in the 90-degree elbow of the shutoff valve.
Try to blow some low-pressure shop air back through the fuel line where it connects to the fuel pump mounted on the engine cover. See if has a slight restriction then you hear air start bubbling in the fuel tank. Make sure the fuel is low when you attempt this procedure.
If this turns out to be the problem, disassemble the rider enough to get the fuel tank out so it can be properly cleaned because the problem will not go away. There is no "short cut" to cure this issue.
