YTA22V46 rear trans. bar linkage disconnected - where does it connect?

Well, this MAY be why my Husky YTA22V46 will not move. I found this loose rear bar linkage hanging down on the right rear side behind the tire when I examined the rear drive pedal linkage - see below photo.

I can not find ANY location where this linkage was attached to - none. I am hoping someone can please help me determine what is this linage and WHERE does it attach to. I don't believe it is possible for the linkage to go inside the mower frame?

Note that the linkage ends in a insertion tab and not a hole? I wonder if an addition part may have fallen off this linkage bar?

I am about at the end of my rope with this tractor. I am sure some forum member can help me. I cannot find any web diagrams that show this rear drive linkage.

No - it does not move. Sorry for the embarrassing post above on the linkage - I am 80 and have been working on this tractor too long. I have rebuilt the deck. I replaced all the drive belt pulleys and belts. The drive belt movement seems fine with the engine running with the brake on. Tomorrow I will check that the trans pulley is moving with the drive belt and check to see if the rear wheels will rotate with them jacked up.

I just wonder if the free wheeling mode is not working correctly. The wire pull is very thin and bends when I push it in and it is bowed up. But, the parking brake is suppose to release the free wheeling mode when released? This would be just too simple of any explanation for it not moving.

Any advise appreciated. I am running out of things to check. Do you own a Husky?

Just passing thru.

The transaxle is a General Transmissions RS800P. Most of the controls are plastic which of course wears heavily. The forward/reverse pedal must be in neutral position. If it is off a little the inversion system will not allow the transaxle to be full release. Sometimes all you need is adjust the nut on the inversion rod a little CW maybe 1/2 - 1 turns and the neutral will work again as it condensates for the wear.

But first make everything is debris free.

WOW - what great information. I have never seen any of this information on the internet. You have given me some renewed energy to actually try and fix this Husky of mine when I honestly was about to give up on it. Just for the record my tractor is Product #960450051 and serial #032316A017555. Thanks again.
