YT-16 Ford

Hello everyone,
I have a YT 16 ford that I bought from an individual and am wondering if someone can tell me the year
model by the serial number which is YC13155. I mostly diassembled the tractor with the intension
of restoring it. But I have not gotten very far. Thanks
 
Have you contacted a New Holland dealer to see if they could help? Also, most Ford lawn tractors were manufactured by Jacobson. They may be able to help, but since the Fords were contract jobs I doubt it.

Yea, I bought mine from a guy who had not used it for some time and I took most of the sheet metal
off to repaint. Last night I hooked up the starter and ignition sw hooked up a battery and it turned over
so I put a little gas in the carb and turned it over again and it fired right up and ran smoothly until the gas
was gone. I was plesantly surprised. I think I am just goint to paint the engine covers and then reassemble
it and start useing it this mow season.

Greg, i got mine from a somewhat family member, the machine sat in a shed for 20 years after only being used for one summer, that is right one summer. i opened the shed door and could not believe my eyes. i also have a Ford 1210 4x4 diesel . they are my twinfords. it is in great condition and has never been taken apart.

That is really cool! I too have a Ford 1510 4x4 that I did a little touch up paint job on. My little
YT-16 is going to be it's Minime (Austin Powers).

My YT16 is a heck of a work horse!!! It has 2 barn mates: 1985 1710 diesel (w/front end loader) & 1971 2000 diesel (w/6' box blade). My blood runs "BLUE" LOL!!
