Hello,

I want to buy new blades for my JD X300R.

I have 42" deck with Turbostar mower system and rear collector.

I wonder if I can use high lift blades on this model.
Standard high performance blades are part number AM137331.
I just wonder if I can mount high lift blades AM141034.
Would grass collection be better with these high lift blades?

thanks for your advise,

Looks to me that the two blades that you have listed are for different serial numbers. I am looking at the dealer supplied info from my phone so it could be different than I am used to at work. You need to just go in and talk to the head of the lawn and garden service department and they will get you fixed up. Most of the time the information is free but what's a little cost to make sure you get the right blades the first time.

A little off the subject, but as a 300R owner, have you had any "bad experiences" with the low clearance of the bagger frame?

I amd looking for an X300 or 300R, but the low clearnace worries me with all the exposed oak tree roots on my property.

Appreciate any advise.
