Wisteria

We have a wisteria growing up the side of the garage, and it looking for somewhere to go from there. It's starting to wrap around the gutter and doesn't seem to want to climb over the roof. I think it might want to come out, away from the house, but the lawn slopes away starting about 3 feet out from the house. Any suggestions?

What do you want the Wisteria to do? Are you trying to tame it or trying to encourage it? It sounds like a trellis or arbor structure of some sort would give it a place to continue its climbing habit.
