which red fuel filter, 1/4 inch inline ?

e bay sells them for various prices ----small red ,for mower without fuel pump 1/4 inch inline filter 1 for $4, 10 for 4^, 20 for $5 5 for $11. and one labelled a briggs and Stratton for $5. think I may buy the oem?

Be sure you buy the real deal Briggs red. Costs more but worth it.

I tried the clones, every one of them eventually started leaking at the seam.
Waste of money and time.

I don't use the red pancake filters. Not fine enough filtering to prevent debris from not sticking the float valve open. I start with the white pancake and then go up in quality from there. The red filters are 150 micron and the white ones are 75 micron. I use the white ones for gravity flow and the 84001895/491035 40 micron filters for fuel pump engines or the 10 micron Kohler 24 050 13-S filters
