In that case, I recommend E5 and keep the equipment tank full when not in use. A fuel stabilizer added as directed on the product label should extend the life of 90 days' worth of fuel and prevent moisture from collecting,
Yes non Ethanol or what "I" call E-0.0-ethanol is recreational fuel or non-ethanol in most areas.
Sorry to hear that. Over here in the States, we have pumps with ONE nozzle. Heard rumor if you buy premium, you get low grade. Same rumor, if you buy mid grade, you get you guessed it low grade. Gas stations are cheating us without us knowing. CEO needs another yacht.Thank you for your replies but it would appear that this Forum is primarily a US Forum. The only petrol that I buy is for chainsaws, strimmers and my Scab ride-on and there are only 2 choices of petrol at the pumps, E5 & E10, over here.
Thank you very much. I do currently buy E5 and keep the tanks full. I have used a stabiliser as well sometimes. In that case, I recommend E5 and keep the equipment tank full when not in use. Bless you. I can't advise on UK fuel restrictions. In the U.K.
Oh that is recreational boat fuel LOL.0 ethanol
No, not as far as I am aware. We all just go to the pumps and it's either E5 or E10 petrol, and then 2 different grades of diesel fuel.Bless you. I can't advise on UK fuel restrictions.
Do you have access to canned fuels with 0 ethanol?
In the UK try using Aspen 2, ethanol free pre- mixed for 2 strokes, 5 year shelf life. No, not as far as I am aware. We all just go to the pumps and it's either E5 or E10 petrol, and then 2 different grades of diesel fuel.
Not really true. I was in the business for years, both as a transporter for a major trucking firm and as an owner of several gas stations. First off as a transporter we hauled all grades of gasoline, so that means someone was selling them. I am from MN and they regularly go forth and test pumps for both volume dispensed, and grade. You don’t meet both, they bag your pump.(s).Sorry to hear that. Over here in the States, we have pumps with ONE nozzle. Heard rumor if you buy premium, you get low grade. Same rumor, if you buy mid grade, you get you guessed it low grade. Gas stations are cheating us without us knowing. CEO needs another yacht.
Either one. Makes little difference. If the equipment is later than 1980 all the rubber parts are changed to Buna N, impervious to alcohol. When mixing 2 stroke petrol should one use E5 petrol or E10 ? Any help and guidance would be very much appreciated.
EDIT. This is for my Kawasaki strimmer.
