I'm doing maintenance on my Cub Cadet FMZ50.

Where do you buy spare parts, and are there caveats in that regard? I'm looking to see what it will cost to change the spindles. There are several cheap kits with blades on eBay for this, but my model seems to be rare in the US. It's probably a European model. Are the spindles and blades the same as for RZT50 (with the exception of the belt)?

My model is

CUB CADET FMZ 50 SD
Kawasaki FH661V 22.0 675cc motor
Model number 17BI4BFP603
Year 2009

If I am to order original parts fom Cub Cadet it quickly becomes rather expensive compared to eBay.

I'm NOT sure of YOUR P/N for your spindle, I found an FMZ50 parts manual which displays the number as 918-04426, YOU can try to cross reference P/Ns from your European parts manual to the American manuals

NOTICE the spindle "breakdown" in the Weingartz parts list for the deck.
