Where can I find this little spring?

Been trying to figure out what's going on with my parents push mower after they had someone "fix" it previously. Narrowed it down to this missing throttle(?) spring under the air filter. Can't seem to find any reference to it on parts diagrams anywhere. The model of the mower is an MTD 11A-020G020.

Attaching pic of my single "connected" spring that's all jacked up and needs to be bent back into shape. Also circled where the missing spring should be.


Also attaching pic I found from a YouTube video of the proper spring attached and how it should look.


Any help finding this stupid spring is appreciated!

Going to need the model number information on the engine. Most likely location is above the spark plug stamped into the metal blower housing.

Should be 691859....
get the model info like Ilengine said.

Some do not have the second spring and the big one on your mower needs replacing as well

Awesome! Think you nailed it! Looks like the springs come in a pack too, 691859 & 692211. Found them quickly on Amazon here.

yep, parts list shows that for the governed idle spring.
