WHAT IS THIS?

There is this one house in my area that the grass is getting white on the top (pictures attached). I was wondering what it is...is it the grass seeding? Is it that the mower that the guy uses has dull blades?

Ask the owners if they have had the lawn treated recently, that is possibly a chemical burn. I know that here that happens frequently a day or two after a company like True Green comes through and treats the lawn, especially if they treat in the heat of the day.

they also may wait to long to cut the grass and are cutting to much at once or the blade is not angled wrong cutting it twice very close together causing those healing marks
