Valve spring compressor recommendation

Recommend me a valve spring compressor. I need to do some work on my Kohler Confidant EZT750-3011 (747cc, 27HP, EFI) engine. While I have it on the bench, I'm going to do a valve job. I need a tool that will work with this engine. The best candidate I've found is this:


The reviews say that it is weak for automotive valves, but I'd think that it would be fine for small engines. This kit also has two lapping tools.
 
Yup mower keepers are fairly easy with fingers. Unless you are getting or gotten old like ME. Fingers don't have the once semi-"handicap" strength anymore.

I'm in my 60's. I don't have the strength I once did. Taryl has stated that Briggs valve springs are easy to compress by hand, but Kohler's are not. Taryl has a video where he demonstrated removing Briggs valves by hand, but then said that he needed a compressor for the Courage engine he was working on. If Taryl can't do Kohler valve springs by hand, I'm guessing that I can't either.

I'll give it a try by hand. I have the engine on a dolly right now. Hopefully, I'll have it apart, and on the bench in a day or two.

that photo appears to be a L-Head engine where the valves are in the block. If one has that style engine, the spring compressor like below is what is needed - although they can be done by hand but it is a pain.

In the video, Taryl shows Briggs & Kohler OHV heads. I agree that the photo is an L head, but that's not what the video shows at the point I saved it. You'll have to click on the video.
