Vaccume Hose for Briggs

Hello!

I am having an issue with my carburator on my briggs engine. There is gas dripping from the vaccume tube that goes from the carburator to the engine. There isnt a clamp on the tube where it attaches to the carb (thats where its leaking gas). Not sure if there is supposed to be or not. There is also gas dripping from the air filter. I have attached a pic of the hose.

Needle valve in carb not sealing, allowing the carb to overflow, and run out the air filter, out around your breather tube, and I suspect has filled the crankcase with case. You will need to remove, clean, and install a carb kit, then change the oil after confirming the repair of the carb.

Yes, after fixing it as he said, I usually install an inline shut off on the fuel line.
