How much room do you have to play around with? I have seen all types and I remember years ago in school taking a split Forestry/Horticulture class we had to do something similar for a quarterly project.

Someone down the road from us has a small flowerbed with a metal bed headboard and footboard at the opposite ends, I did a DOUBLE TAKE driving by the first time trying to figure out what it was supposed to be....

I have a plot that is 24 x 24 to be developed right now with some more needing to be developed later on by a stream. But right now the 24 x 24 for sure.

What type of flowers do you plan to put in it? That may make a difference in what type of design you want to do. For example, a butterfly garden shaped like a butterfly, a night scented garden shaped like a moon, you get where I am going, right.

One of my neighbors has a "bed of roses" , literally, they are planted in a bed frame complete with headboard and foot board. It is a neat idea.

I have seen that several places... it's always cute, and reminds me that growing anything is NOT always "a bed of roses"... :smile:KennyV
