Turf Tiger digital hour meter

I have a new Scag Freedom Z, 48/Kaw and Scags are new to me. I only have 2.6 hours on it. The way mine works is if I just turn the key on, the meter does not advance. I've waited 3 mintues and nothing. I then crank the motor and after 15 seconds or so, it flashes 093.4 very quickly then the numbers flash and advance normally. Mine will not advance with just the key on.
 
Ok. New voltage regulator along with a new battery fixed the digital hour meter issue. I mowed with it Wednesday 9/5/12 and it read correctly when I finished.

Still have leak on left rear of TT.

glad you finally got it fixed. a word of caution though, i thought they had mine fixed on my lemon mower and it started doing the same thing again...which was nothing. hope you get all the kinks worked out and have no more problems with it. so far i haven't had anything go wrong on the one they replaced mine with ((knock on wood)). getting ready to go mow for about 6 hours now. again, good luck.
