trying to locate production date

Ive recently acquired a Gravely 260Z for our chestnut tree group.I think she is older but the dealer was not helpful in determing age. Can anybody look this up for me. Gravely customer service is non existent. Believe me ,I tried, The model is 992154 and the serial number is 000632. The closest Ive come to figuring out production year was maybe the first two digits of serial number are the production year. 2000??? Can anyone help here? Kohler engine doesnt have silver label on it either. THX Hawk
 
Maybe the engine label will give you a clue. According to online information they have been owned by Ariens for quite a few years.

This model was produced from around 2005 to 2016. Gravely and Ariens are the same company, with Gravely being the commercial side and Ariens being the residential side. Based on your serial number, my guess is 2006 year. The engine will have numbers stamped on block that may help also.
Hard to believe the local dealer could not figure this out, and that customer service was of little help. They sell this equipment and should know it backwards and forwards.
