Hello,

I just recently purchased this mower and have just began using it. There are areas that I cut that are sloped down from my house to the street (I live on a corner house). I am noticing when I am cutting these areas of uneven terrain that my electronic PTO often disengages the blades and I have to push in the PTO button and back out for the blades to engage again. The motor does not shut off, so I don't think it's a Safety Seat switch issue (at least I don't think it is because the motor does not cut out). If it is the sloped terrain that is causing the issues, is there anything I can do when I'm mowing to have this not happening so much. It's a bit frustrating to have to stop so much and engage the PTO.

Is it possible that the slope is causing you to lean off the seat in which is causing the seat swtich to temporarily release. On some mower it will kll the enigne when the seat switch is released on others it will do exactly what you describe.

Hello, and thanks for the quick reply,

I know that's a safety feature, but is there anyway to bypass the seat safety switch?

Yes but due liability issues we can't tell you legally.

I already had one insurance company trying sue me a few years ago after a guy's mower took the side of his wife's new car. Luckily I am the one found that a DIYer installed the wrong switch. They had to hunt the one that did it.
