We have a troy bilt riding mower with 42 inch cut. My husband replaced the deck belt, mowed for 30 minutes, then hit a mole hill and now belt keeps coming off. What is causing this? Belt now appears to be too big now but fit correctly in the beginning. Anyone have any suggestions?

Check that belt is routed right and all the pulleys are at same height, I have one and it's bad about bending the arm that the pulley is attached that tightens belt when you engage blades, if it's bent up find something to pry it back down in line with other pulleys.
