Troy-Bilt Pressure washer

I have a Troy-Bilt pressure washer with a small Honda engine on it. The engine runs great, however the unit is not producing very much pressure, certainly not the 2700 psi it is supposed to. Is the pump a repairable unit or is that something you just replace as a unit?

Parts are limited or not available in most cases for the consumer pressure washers. And in most cases even if you can repair the pump, a new pump isn't much more expensive then the part to repair the pump

Shops do not repair pressure washer pumps. It is a remove and replace item. I do occasionally replace broken pumps on pressure washers for customers.

post the model of the pressure washer and if pump has one it too. And I if the packing, seals, and check valves for an individual to replace.

As said cost, labor, and availability are the limiting factor vs a new pump or a new pressure washer. Prices of pumps have come down with the Chinese getting involved so repairs are getting very rare.

It seems everybody has got a wrench. I just had a customer to his governor in his Kohler engine by trying to using YouTube instructions when it was a carb problem. When you have no experienc it is best to leave it to us pros.
