Troy-Bilt Pony PTO will not shut off (blades turn regardless)

Hi,

I have a 3 or 4 year-old 42" Pony. Less than a year after buying it, I had the common problem of the "puny" PTO cable snapping. NOW the PTO won't disengage the blades no matter what I do. Any suggestions, folks? I sure would appreciate it.

Further info...I had the PTO cable replaced under warranty. Now, a couple years later, the blades won't stop when I disengage the PTO lever. Any ideas?

Post model# from the sticker thats under the seat.
