Trouble with my G2 Recharge mower, getting error codes

I tried to use my mower today but it will not move, getting 3 flashes then 1 flash, as well as 3 flashes then 5 flashes. There is no one in the area that knows about this mower so I am hoping that I don't have to get rid of it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Make sure the parking brake switch is off. If it's not off, then switch it off and they turn the keyswitch off then on.

According to the curtis 1228 manual:

3 flashes then 1 flash: HPD fault present > 10 seconds -> possible cause: 1. Misadjusted throttle. 2. Broken throttle pot or throttle mechanism.
3 flashes then 5 flashes: HPD (High Pedal Disable) fault -> possible cause: 1. Improper sequence of throttle and KSI, push, or inhibit inputs. 2. Misadjusted throttle pot.
