Towing a trailer

I have a Raptor SD60 with the engine shield. I plan to tow a trailer behind it for spraying my lawn and other areas. What is the popular ball size for small trailers? Do I just buy a ball kit and install it in the hole in the engine shield and then attach the trailer?

Trailer tongues are different sizes, size ball needed should be stamped on trailer tongue.

Most towable sprayers have a simple pin and clevis hookup for a hitch.

It might be that the hole in the engine cover works just fine as-is for that type of connection.
