The Exmarks aren't really anymore expensive depending on the series you buy. The E series is the least expensive starting at around the 7K mark and up depending on the size of the deck and engine combination you buy.

Oh ok. I thought some were around 12k, but maybe that's with the baggers.
 
The one I tried out on Wednesday was a Model 74992, had a 60" deck, and list price was $12,000. We ordered 3 and hope to get at least one by Labor Day.

Yeah That's a little pricey but it's the same for a lot other mowers. My guess 12K would be the 5000, the 3000 will be a little less money. That's why I was wanting it on the 2000 unit.
 
Ric- Lil pricey indeed. But I guess you are right comparables are probably in about same price area. how big is the deck on the 2000 ?

I'm running the 48" deck on the 2000. I would like to have gone a little bigger but anything larger wouldn't increase productivity for the lawns that I mow. You can get the 2000 with the 48" 52" or 60" decks. If I can get the 3000 my ride in the 48" I'd go that way because I like the separate pumps and wheel motors and I'd like to have the full 7ga. deck say nothing about the warranty but I don't think there going to offer the MR in the 48"
 
I understand, for me going bigger than a 42", would just cause me more push mow work. And my push mow has no seat. :laughing:

Yeah that's where a lot these commercial guys get into trouble, they buy the 60" mowers thinking there faster and they end up with having to waste a lot of time pushing the areas that they can't get to with the 60" and it slows there rate of productivity. That's where I like the 36" stander, smaller areas and back yards aren't a problem.
