Toro XL 440H Oil Leak

I recently changed the oil filter on my ride on mower, after replacing the filter and oil I checked for leaks, ran the engine and re-checked, no leaks.
After using the mower the yesterday I noticed a large amount of oil seeping from a nut at the base of the engine to the rear of the oil filter.
There are no leaks from the filter or drain plug, but there is oil on the spark plug. Not sure but the oil seems to start seeping when I engage the blades.

Check the oil level.
There is an O ring at the bottom of the dip stick tube.
If overfull oil will tend to blow past this O ring and the wind from the cooling will blow it backwards.
