Toro TimeCutter SS5000 zero turn kawasaki motor.

Can someone please tell me why my fully charged battery is dead within 1 hour of use? The Pto shuts off when battery is dead. What will cause this issue. I have a residential model 50 inch Toro Zero Turn SS5000 Timecutter series with a Kawasaki motor.

Just about the only thing that flatten a battery that quick is the alternator.
Now does the battery go flat while the mower is running or while it is standing ?
Remember you have been using the thing but all we have are 4 sentences on our screens.

What you are describing is exactly what happens when a battery is connected backwards but usually it blows the main power fuse.

When you connect the battery to the mower does it spark, and if so is it a little spark plug zap or a welder bang .
When the mower is running can you pull a lead off the battery and the mower stays running ?
What service / repairs have been done to the mower this season ?
When did this start to happen?
