Do me a favor post an image of the fuel pump. I getting two different images as I research that 127-9206. One would be a cross to a Kawasaki version.

I just like to have version in stock for future repairs.

I think it has the Loncin made engine on it.

Make sure fuel will flow thru the filter, or replace it. You can test the pump, disconnect from carb and crank the engine.

This is the current pump on my mower. I bought this one from Amazon last night.

I've already cranked the engine a dozen times, it's just that fuel pump not disconnected yet. There's absolutely no fuel going through the filter -- it's bone dry (refer to picture).

Is it safe to say that pump not working? Or do I HAVE TO disconnect it then test again? To disconnect is just to see if any fuel coming out, correct?

Yes, disconnect is to test. It is to eliminate a blocked carb from the equation. If fuel flows from pump, check at carb, then check inside carb. Remove bowl, check for fuel, check float, clear passages.

From the picture, I'd replace the filter, and probably fuel lines, but I have plenty of fuel lines on hand.

I'm not a big fan of aftermarket fuel pumps. You might get one that works or you may not.
Replace the fuel lines and filter.
Use this fuel filter and install with the arrow pointing towards the carburetor.

I don’t know anything about your engine but I had a similar problem with my Toro this week. I thoroughly cleaned the carb and it ran fine. Replaced the fuel filter with an off brand and it would not start. Fuel tricked thru the filter. Replaced fuel filter with a Kawasaki brand and it instantly filled with fuel when I tried to start it. I also removed, bench tested and cleaned the carb solenoid which I believe was the biggest part of the problem. It was not working and was preventing fuel flow into the needle valve. It the started right up and is running great after I reinstalled it.
