TORO 2000 HDX OIL DRAIN TUBE CAP ISSUE

I'm changing the oil for the first time on this new mower and cannot get the oil drain tube cap off. See picture of the tube and cap. I held the bottom in a wrench and regardless of pressure I applied to the wrench on the cap side, the cap would not budge. Is this an issue with this mower, am I doing something wrong, or should I have some spinach and try again?
