Throttle on Tank LZ

When mowing my throttle will back off to about half speed. Will not stay wide open. Any ideas
 
The throttle lever is loosing friction.
Some oil them thinking they need to move smoothly & easily.
Most are held together with either a nut & bolt ( tighten it ) or a rivet ( smack it with a center punch & hammer .
