Throttle doesn't control Carb

Took pics and removed carb to clean. Reassembled and the throttle linkage doesn't control the Carb. There was only one linkage to the carb. Its driving me crazy!!!

It would really really help if you posted those pictures so we would have some idea about what what carb on which engine fitted to what impliment.
