Hi Everyone,

I bought a used pressure washer with a Briggs and Stratton engine and there is an issue controlling the throttle. I uploaded a video outlining the problem below. Essentially, when I move the throttle arm there is nothing that moves the throttle shaft. I downloaded the manually and it appears that I'm not missing any links. How do I fix this?

It's a craftsman C950 679630

Thanks,

you fix it by starting the engine. The springs speed up the engine, and the governor or in the case of this engine the air vane slows down the engine. the throttle won't move from the full speed position until the engine is running which will then move the throttle on the carb to slow it down. The springs and the air vane governor fight to create the correct engine speed.
