Across the pond and he died 25 years ago. He had some so old that you had to pump them by hand. I really didn't have a use for them back then, he must of had over 50 of them and all kinds of parts that went into the trash. I for one would love to see your collection, even if you E-mail me reynoldston@hotmail.com. Nick
I'll take some pictures of the collection as soon as I can and email them over to you

Collecting out board motors and lawn tractors and such as a hobby i can apriciate, provided one has a boat or a lawn to use them cause it takes a bit of skill getting them to run and in usefull condition

But...vac cleaners and sowing machines!....more a "female" hobby? ...
Ahh..i forgot.. wearing a skirt and baking cookies gets one well on the way eh

WOW! Couldn't pass that one up!

Can you get parts for it.? That is an Eastern European machine right?
That is a really good price. I paid more than that for my 35hp Ford/New Holland with a loader...900 hours.
Its russian,i got 2 of them, parts are no problem.

I wait for opportunities,i never paid more than 5 grand for any tractor i own,the cheapest one was this 85 hp cockshutt 1800 diesel...$400(just needed $250 injection pump parts.
PO had just rebuild the engine but broke the pump shaft(seized rotor, been sitting to long non running)trying to start it.They quoted him 2 grand for a new pump..he lost heart.

Well it seems like I read somewhere you are an old hand with diesel engines...a distinct advantage as long as you can get the parts...... but just a few parts for a John Deere could quickly add up to 4k.
Good for you my friend! Good for you!

I got a screaming deal last week from a local flea market- a pair of 25x13.00x9 'wooly booger' atv tires with rims for $25 - nearly brand new tread , still holding air .

New, the tires alone retail for $70 EACH - pays to do thrift stores/flea markets - a great deal will show up eventually.

Guess it depends how badly the seller wants to get rid of stuff - a while back my wife saw a set of ATV wheels for $100 each at a flea market - the guy i bot the wheels from just wanted em gone, was tired of having em lying around.
