my dad was having problems with his mower bought it this year quantum engine kept fouling the plug i replaced it with a old style J19lm plug i had on hand and the mower is performing flawlessly and the plug color shows it to be burning correctly no fouling no missing or other crap.

same problem, used Briggs and stratton only 3 times then did not use it for a few months. It would not start. I thought the gas may have gone bad so replaced it and drained the engine first. The air filter is clean. After 100 pulls to start my arm hurt to much to try again. I pulled the plug and it is burnt looking. What a piece of crap plug they sold.
