Tb280 Troy bilt won’t start with push button

I have a TB280 es and the mower starts fine with the pull cord but when I use the electric start it sounds like it doesn’t have enough power to start it. This is only the second season with this mower and it worked fine last year.

Yes I used the ac adapter and left it for a few days but it didn’t seem to help the issue.

Probably a battery with has gone bad. You will need to have it checked and purchase new if questionable.
