Not me but the computer systems. Started having overheat shutdowns last week. It got to a point even with it unplugged overnight it would shut before even the initial start up completed. A new to be system arrived Wednesday but I having to wait now on an adapter as the it doesn't a VGA port. So I just rework an old system today to at least get the business system back up and running. Not going to know how act with a one TB HD and Win 10 Pro, I had only a 170 GB system before. And newer system has a two TB HD Win 11 Pro setup.

Now I just got spend a lot time recovering my service manuals which are about 20 GB so it will take some time to download them all. TB email program half working. Backing up that profile did not back up the passwords. FF is up and fully synced.

And after 8 hrs I taking a break and going to work on some mowers.

Hope you get it sorted out soon.

I went through a similar situation with my stored automotive database last year. I ended up putting everything on an external 1TB SSD to hopefully avoid a future computer crash issue.

Fortunately, much of my small engine and ATV stuff is on CD's I've collected over the years.

Technology makes life easier until it decides quit.

I don't think I will ever transition to the newer "Cloud" technology.

For your old computer.... Have you tried blowing air into the cooling port to break up the years of dust collected? That may help for a short time so you can recover your password information and maybe a few of the more critical files.

Next idea would be to remove and clone your existing hard drive, or have it done by a local computer geek if you happen to know any. My tech savvy son and youngest daughter helped me with much of my transition and recovery.

Unless the system scramble the hard drive. That have happen to me a few times.

HD crashes is why I have things on Google and One Drive drives. It took awhile to get TB profile upload a week ago as it was over 4 GB 7zipped. The problem is that the profile didn't hold my passwords.

Definitely wasn't dust as I tried that several times. I even replaced the fans. Not worth the trouble as the system was over 12 yrs old to attempt repairs any further and couldn't be upgrade any further. Even FF and TB would not update any further.

But I did manage get it stay up long enough to snip copies of the TB passwords. Now I just got to print them out so I can enter them manually. Just going to take some time. For some reason the problem seems to be network related. These all in one boards are pain as one failure you have to toss them. The main email accounts are up as I remember those passwords. Now if I can get the FF to stay up long to what extension I that generated secure passwords.
