swap 2004 26hp kohler command engine for later model 27 hp courage, wiring?

You will just have to rewire the engine to the tractor. All a starter solenoid is, is a heavy duty on and off electric switch no matter where it is mounted. You should be able buy a starter solenoid form any auto parts store for the courage.
