I can think of several things I would like to see , like being able to up-load & download manuals & PDFs
(give me an inch & I'll take a mile ) ..( LOL )
or a type of library of retrieval information... ALL to costly and time consuming.

I've been on this site for a few years and I for one am truly grateful for what we have... GREAT people, GREAT information, good times and .... AND ... it's free too !! THANKS to ALL of the LMF staff for ALL you do !! ..Boobala

This forum is awesome as it is. My suggestion for improving it is, Don't change the entire format so we have to learn how to use it all over again! So many sites change software to add more features or get a new look, but all it does is confuse the existing users.

Similar to previous thread, an archive section would be good .
While most companies like to keep control over their IP I would imagine there would be little objection to keeping an archive of obsolete mower manuals & IPL's
This could be offered to companies as an alternative to them having the pages on their servers so the forum is providing an archive service to the company ( sponsorship potential ).
I love this site and it has been invaluable resource to me particularly from Australia where most mowers are distributed under franchise and the franchise holders point blank refuse to supply any technical support for any mower that they did not sell.

An archive of old manuals would be fantastic, but without permission we cannot publish them for others to download. The best we could do is reach out to manufacturers to discuss the idea of offering manuals.

Perhaps a "loaded" 44 MAGNUM... pointed at their genitalia would provide any needed incentive to do so ..!!

Sorry ... but ( IMO ) manufacturers are interested in NOTHING ...unless it adds to their " Bottom-Line " ..
It really pains me to know that SOMEWHERE ..out there is a bunch of FORMER or current employees of these manufacturers that know of archive storages of information that is of little use to these companies (except to provide another source of revenue) but could prove to be of significant importance to folks that own ...or companies that provide "Materials-Support" for these aging products . I only wish some of THOSE people ... would step up and disclose the locations and parties in control of the information ... and disbursement of such. Somehow a small amount finds it's way to E-Bay at the hands of the "marketeers" and we are forced to purchase what at one time was given freely ..

Two suggestions; first have an option to tell members you are a service tech in their profile. At the present time you must select homeowner or dealer. Second, fix the auto email, which I have requested many times. As a service tech, this time of the year I don't have time to search my profile or forums to see if someone has responded and I need to try to reply.

I'll second that second suggestion!
