stops running but will idle

Mower: 2019 RZT46 zero turn (steering wheel) cub cadet.
Runs great for about 1 - 1.5 hours, then shuts down. Can be immediately restarted, but the minute the brake is released it shuts down. Will sit and idle indefinitely, until brake is released.
Let it cool down for a few hours, starts right up and runs great, until it gets hot. Then repeat the process.
Its a mystery to the tech where I bought it.

Clue #1 provided

Look for a bad switch, failing wires or connectors.

Here goes, remove the ignition coil kill wire. Run the mower as normal. See if it runs as long as you want. If so you have some safety switch issue.
